This picture was taken at Christmas 2008 at Lisa Ngo's house. We had a great time, as you can see on Dante's face. What a family pic! I will always remember Lisa saying at her first christmas party at her house, "Wow, we are really adults now!" I laughed because it just sounded funny, but also because it was so true!

It's amazing what a difference your life can change from one time point A to point B... What's interesting is what you consider A and B right?
-1 year ago, Dante was still a fragile newborn, barely could keep his head up
-2 years ago, Chantel and I were learning about pregnancy
-5 years ago, I was saving money to propose to Chantel
-10 years ago, I met Chantel and was about to finish college
-15 years ago, I bought my truck (that I still use!) and was a senior in high school

1 hour ago, I was chatting with my friend Charlie about his wife being 38 weeks pregnant... I talked to him about a year ago, but I haven't seen Charlie in years. Our conversation spurred this reason to think about what I'm writing. Especially when I told him, "Remember to savor each second when she delivers, because it happens pretty quick". I'm glad I was given that advice when we were in the same position, because that was truly a life-changing moment, and loved every second of it.
