I Fix it, Mommy!
Our hallway bathroom is clogged up. Dante loves to wash his hands and play in the sink. I told Dante he cannot wash his hands for too long or the water will get too high. I said, "It's broken and we have to fix the water." I knew he would understand the word "broken" if I explained it that way. So, He moved on to our bedroom bathroom and continued to wash his hands in the sink. Once he was done and I dried his hands he went off to explore somewhere else.
Dante came back to me with both his hands out and said "look mommy, I have batteries...I fix the water." I had a huge smile and was so proud of him to wanting to help and how he came up with this was amazing to me! I told him "we'll wait and have Daddy fix it." hehe.
...I love these moments and I can't wait to share stories about him when he gets older. This story will definitely be on top of my list to share. I love you, Dante. Thank you for your help :)
